Meet Felix
- Show Felix a photo or describe the problem, and it builds you a step-by-step repair plan.
- It won't walk you through gas, electrical panel or structural work. Those go straight to a professional.
- Photos and descriptions are sent to an AI model to build your plan.

Tip: The more you tell Felix, the better the plan — brand, model or serial number if you've got it, even a photo of the label helps.
Felix will walk you through it, step by step.
Felix is in beta. Don't use it for gas, panel wiring, roof work, or anything that needs a permit — it will tell you the same.

About Felix
Felix is a hands-on helper for home repairs and installs. Show it a photo, or simply describe the problem, and it works out what you're dealing with, whether it's safe to do yourself, what you'll need, and the steps to get it done.
How a project works
- Show Felix a photo or describe the job
- It identifies the item and how sure it is
- It decides if it's a safe DIY job or one for a pro
- You get tools, parts, a cost comparison and a numbered plan
- Work one step at a time, with a photo check available any time
- Finish on the recap screen. Your project is saved on your device
Safety
Felix won't walk you through gas lines, electrical panels, 240V circuits, structural work, roofing, or anything that requires a permit. It points you to a professional instead. You can choose to continue anyway, but Felix still won't guide you through the genuinely dangerous jobs.
Your DIY level
The quick quiz tells Felix how much detail to give and how soon to suggest a pro. Change it any time from this menu.
Privacy
Your photos and descriptions are sent to Google's AI to build each plan. Your projects, their photos and your DIY level are saved on this device. We keep a log of how Felix is used (what it identified, how far you got) to improve it, but not your photos. If you came from a pro's card, we note which pro.
Your name, contact details and project only go to a pro if you choose to send them. Read our privacy policy.
Terms
Felix's plans are guidance, not professional advice, and you do any repair at your own risk. Pros you find through Felix are independent businesses. Read our terms of use.
Shopping links
As an Amazon Associate, Felix earns from qualifying purchases made through the "Shop" links next to tools and parts. It doesn't change what you pay.
